During the summer of 2006 I was on a cruise and took the opportunity to go through a toxic cleanse. Following the cruise I made a commitment to get back in shape. During the previous 18 months I had let myself gain 40 pounds and I could no longer keep up with teammates and competitors during bike rides and races. During that same time period my wife and I took out a home equity line of credit to remodel our home after having paid off our mortgage the previous year.
At a bike race later that summer, Z, an AdvoCare distributor and now my sponsor, was giving away SPARK as a prize during the race. I had never heard of SPARK but one of my teammates was using it and he was consistently winning races. I went in search of SPARK at local health food stores and nutrition centers. Nobody seemed to have heard of the product. I went on-line and found AdvoCare. I placed my first order for SPARK and Muscle Gain through Z’s microsite.
Z called me to ask about my interest in AdvoCare but at that time I was not sure how the product was going to work for me. I placed two more orders through Z’s microsite before Z got back to me and asked me why I continued to pay retail prices for the product when I could take advantage of the Member discount.
By the end of the year I had lost 40 pounds and at the same time improved my power on the bike to the point where I was leading rides and winning sprints. After a New Years Day race I was finally convinced that the benefits of becoming an AdvoCare distributor could provide me with not only a discount on the products I was buying but also a business opportunity to pay off our home equity line of credit. With AdvoCare I saw an opportunity to regain both my physical and financial health. I look forward to growing my AdvoCare business and helping others achieve their physical and financial goals.
